With digital wallets, you can securely store your Austin FCU debit card or credit card details to make purchases with your mobile device at a store or online.

Unlock the power of tap to pay, or make your online purchases more secure using Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is an easy, secure and private way to make purchases. To pay, just hold your supported iPhone® or iPad® near a participating merchant’s contactless reader. A vibration and beep let you know your payment has been accepted. You can also use Apple Pay on your supported device to pay online by choosing Apple Pay when available.

To add your Austin FCU credit or debit card to your supported device:

Open the Wallet app
Swipe down
Tap the plus sign
Use your phone’s camera to enter the card or add it manually
Apple will then verify your details and may require a OTP (one-time passcode) to add your card to your wallet.

Google Wallet

As an Android™* user, you can now pay with your phone at more than 1 million stores across the US. Google Wallet™ is a mobile payment solution that offers Austin FCU debit and credit card holders further simplicity, security and choice when paying for things every day.

To pay, just unlock your device and hold the back of the device near a contactless payment terminal. Your device will beep or vibrate, and you’ll receive a confirmation on-screen letting you know the payment was made.

To add your Austin FCU debit or credit card to your Android device:

Download the Google Wallet app
from the Google Play store.
Click Add to Wallet.
Choose Payment Card
Use your phone’s camera to enter the card or add it manually
Enter the OTP (one-time passcode) sent to you to verify your account

Which Austin FCU Cards can I use with Digital Wallets?

You can use Austin FCU debit and credit cards with Digital Wallets. Unfortunately ATM cards are not supported at this time.

Are my payments safe with digital wallets?

Yes. When you use Digital Wallets, your Austin FCU card number isn’t stored on your phone or given to the merchant. A unique digital code, called a “token” is created specifically for that device and that transaction. You still enjoy all the benefits of your Austin FCU debit and credit cards, which include Mastercard’s Zero Liability policy that protects you from confirmed unauthorized transactions.

What merchants use Digital Wallets?

Apple Pay and Google Pay are available at millions of locations.

Are Digital Wallets free?

The service is free, but messaging and data rates may apply.

How do I replace my old Austin FCU card with a new card in Digital Wallets?

Apple Pay: Simply delete the old card from Apple Pay and add the new card. To delete the old card, go into “Settings,” open “Wallet & Apple Pay,” select the card you want to delete, and tap “Remove Card.” To add your new card, follow the easy step-by-step instructions.

How are my privacy and personal information protected?

Since Apple Pay and Google Pay do not transmit your debit or credit card number with transactions, you never reveal your real name, card number or security code to merchants.

Am I able to opt-out of Digital Wallets?

Adding your debit or credit cards to Digital Wallets is your choice, you can add and remove cards as you wish. If you’d like for your card to be completely restricted from using Wallets, please contact us at 512-444-6419 and we’ll be happy to help.
