Fraud Monitoring

FALCON monitors your card transactions for fraud using a scoring system based on amount, location, terminal type, and other factors. High-scoring transactions trigger verification calls or texts. Extremely high scores may cause immediate card shutdown.

For after-hours card restrictions, contact the Fraud Department at (888) 241-2440. Cards with confirmed fraud cannot be reactivated and must be replaced. Note that transactions outside your geographical area score higher (see Travel Notice).

To receive Text Alerts, ensure your cell phone number is updated in No-line Banking.

 

Credit Card Dispute

For unauthorized transactions on your account or unsuccessful merchant disputes, click below to start a credit card dispute. For unauthorized transactions, first call (888) 241-2510 immediately to cancel your card, then complete the dispute form.

An Austin FCU representative will email you within 1-2 business days about next steps. Note that disputes should only be used when no authorization was given or after failed communication with the merchant.
