Join us in building a community ofrenda (altar) here in our Austin FCU lobby. Place a photo or memory on the ofrenda to honor and remember loved ones. We’ll be building the ofrenda all month long, and we’ll celebrate with a reception on Monday November 3rd from 10am to 2pm in our lobby. Join us for pan dulce and hot chocolate to celebrate our loved ones.
If you’re looking to celebrate Dia de Muertos locally, there are several events occurring throughout Austin:
- 42nd Annual Viva La Vida Festival and Parade – Saturday October 25th from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm
- Day of the Dead Festival at the Oswaldo AB Cantu Pan American Park – Saturday November 1 from 2:00 to 6:00pm
- Día de los Muertos at the Moody Amphitheater – November 1, 2025 — November 2, 2025 at 6:00pm
